[Well, something or someone's definitely shaking the gear, judging from how wobbly the feed is when it turns on. In fact, it takes for a while for the wobbling to stop and a curious face peered into it, as if looking really puzzled over the Gear, which is not surprising considering wow look at that black armor, it's totally sinister right.]

...?

[And then for a second, he started smiling derpily and waves at the camera, as there's a sigh from off-the-screen.]

...While that is amusing, I'm afraid I'd have to ask you to return to your true form.

[The person on the screen just turned to the sides and pouted, which nets him another sigh as a... twin appeared on the screen with an exasperated sigh. As well as his somber (and pretty) face pretty much clashing with the derpy smile right besides him.]

Pardon me, residents of this country, but do you happen to know the way to Fuyuki City? The map I've been given was... inadequate, to put it simply.

[ Just instinctively going to drop her gear at the first sight of him. ]

[ “… Do you really hate me so much, my friend…? Even if you have become as such… Do you hate me so much, Knight of the Lake?!”

Lancelot. The Black Knight. Her Lancelot of the Lake. To witness him smiling in such a way was a blow more powerful than the ones dealt to her during the Fourth Holy Grail, but ah, her patience is rewarded with the truth. It was a duplicate of some sort and the real man, the one with a somber expression, was more like that of the knight that no longer was her own.

On instinct, all of the emotional steps she has taken due to Merlin were retracted. Here she was once again, a king ridden with guilt of failing to make things right not once, but twice. The recent talks of leaving Johto remind her that she would return to that bloodied hill at the end of this, not with hope, but with despair. For now the Holy Grail was dismantled and there was no hope for redemption. Never again will she have the chance to ask God to make things right.

She will forever wait with the guilt of the past to wear down her shoulders.

And never again will her knight have the chance to be saved from the madness that would eventually consume him for the Fourth Holy Grail War.

She has no right to speak to him, as trembling fingers reach out to pick up the fallen PokeGear, yet, she can't ignore the call to do so that screams out in her heart. He is here. Maybe it is as Merlin once told her. If she has the chance to set things right here in Johto, should she not attempt to do so?

Yet, the hatred he felt as he attacked her resonated in her heart.
The curse he wished to inflict upon her wove reminders in her mind.
Truly these thoughts were a naïve fantasy once more.

So instead she can only gaze upon the device with her sorrow. There was no miracle left to overturn fate, so how could she face him now? How could she address the knight who longed for loyalty and redemption and tell him that his death was in vain?

Appeared on the screen. For after all, his last memory of her was of his 2nd eternal death in his life, no more and no less. To see her again in such a short notice meant that this world did not kidnap him.

No, it was some sort of conjuration his mind brought upon moments before his death. There was no way for Lancelot of the Lake to gaze upon her ever again due to his accursed status as a Servant.

And yet her face is still there, staring with uncertainty, just like that time.]

[Perhaps it was yet another illusion, but Lancelot of the Lake could be seen sporting the barest hint of an ironic smile.]

[ Her voice trails off as his words repeat in her mind, the woman trying to bring herself to speak to him in return. ]
